3FL Update

Monday, December 10th, 2007

As part of Westnet’s ongoing support and expansion of the 3FL Gaming Network, we have added a number of new services and also revamped and improved some existing ones.

Server Booking System
3FL is proud to announce the beta launch of our server booking system initially for Counter-Strike Source with support for additional games (Team Fortress 2 is next) as demand increases.

Full details can be found in the news post that is found here.

Tournaments & Ladders
3FL has also introduced a Tournaments and Ladders system for our users. The first ladder to test things out is for Counter-Strike Source fitting in with our currently available bookable servers.

Details can be read in the following news post here

Expanded Mirror sections
As previously discussed on these forums, we have expanded several of the Linux distribution mirrors with the removal of the apt-proxy facility that we had with full mirrors now available for these distributions. The 3FL Mirror is now also an official Australian mirror for the Fedora and CentOS Linux distributions.

3FL Radio revamp
The popular 3FL radio has received a bit of a revamp with the site having been reskinned to fit in with the rest of the 3FL web site theme. Currently we are offering 48 relays of streams for some of the most popular radio stations found online.
