The Westnet Blog is here to provide Westnet members and interested members of the general public with an insight into the thoughts and activities of Westnet staff members. In turn we hope that visitors to this blog will share their thoughts, feelings and feedback with us.

A number of Westnet staff will contribute as the blog grows but for now you are stuck with Ryan as the only author. As the number of contributors increases we will add some brief bio information about each of them to this page.

Ryan Bunter - Ryan has been employed by Westnet since 2000 during which time he has worked in nearly every customer service team within Westnet. He currently holds the position of Customer Service Manager. He is passionate about implementing improvements that benefit members and strongly believes that encouraging and listening to feedback from members is the first and most important step in achieving this. Ryan is married with one daughter and his current goal outside of work is to cut his Iced Coffee addiction back to three hits per week.

Jonathon Lanzon - Jonathon has been an employee of Westnet since 2001, before ADSL was available. Jonathon started off in the Helpdesk during his Uni days and then moving to the System Administration team once completing his degree in 2002. Jonathon now runs the Network Operations Member Services team where service reliability (especially with Westnet’s email service) is the number one focus. Out of work Jonathon is usually carving up the Hockey Field playing for the Southern River Hockey Club.
